I would like to say thank you and a job well done. I had been looking for a company in
the Fredericksburg area for over two years that would be willing to do some repair work on a built-in swimming pool. The coping (or bead) between the concrete deck and the top of the fiberglass liner needed replaced. “This information is to confirm the importance of doing the three-bid process when planning home projects and giving high praise when and where it is due upon completion. My wife and I needed to upgrade our patio at our home. Believe me it was in the worst condition one could imagine. We decided to entertain several contractors and see what they had to offer, both in cost and design. Deuces Garden and Patio Creations was the company selected out of the three. Why? Well first, they were very deliberate in their discussions with my wife and me. They listened to our ideas, which were minimum since we had only stamped concrete in mind. I had no idea of the products that were available. I knew how I wanted it to look but even with that, there were many ways to get there. Ms. Gwendolyn Braswell-Nash, the owner, and her Project Manager spent a lengthy amount of time sharing the products available and photos of various patterns and styles. She introduced us to the term pavers. That sold us. We continued to work together and that itself impressed both my wife and I to the point we had no doubt this was the company to do our project. Now, I will say after ironing out the design, there then was the cost that was not cheap. But their persistence to work with us on the cost and provide a design that we were excited about, it all came together. Now months later,  it couldn’t have been done any better. With some personal additions, the patio is the talk of the neighboring homes surrounding me. “Two years I copied a picture from a library book of an amazing raised rock garden.  I contacted Deuces Garden this summer and asked if they could replicate it.  I was doubtful that it could be done as beautiful as the picture. Gwen spent hours going to multiple stone centers to get just the right rocks.  She said it would look better than the picture.  I was doubtful but stand corrected.  The final result is even better than the picture.  Denis checked with me multiple times during the project to make sure that it was going exactly as I had in mind.  They cleaned up everything each day before leaving.  In addition, I didn’t expect them to mulch the entire area surrounding the rock garden.  I wanted moss to grow on the rocks, and Gwen researched where to find the moss, and she obtained it for me.  I am absolutely thrilled with the work that was done, and it exceeded my expectations.“
